I have installed the packages indicated, release
1.17.1-201904181103~ubuntu18.10.1 (ubuntu cosmic), compatible with the
current debian version:

but the problem remains:

DvbTab::hideCursor()
browsing through the code, I searched for the error message "Cannot open
frontend": a dvb_fe_open2 function would seem to fail... while with the
1.16.3-1 version there are no problems.
