Matthew Woodcraft is right.

On top of that, I'd add that the select-editor mechanism doesn't work properly:

4) if a system has only one editor, sensible-editor calls select-editor, that creates a zero-length file ~/.selected-editor, without asking anything to the user. If, at a second time, another editor is added to the system, select-editor finds the zero-length file and does not ask anything to the user.

Please, consider also, as a general rule, that asking questions to the user, should be always avoided, unless the user is expecting it.
