Package: cyrus-imapd Version: 3.0.8-4 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I'm currently in the process of migrating our configuration on a couple of tests servers to Cyrus 3. In that process I backported the Cyrus 3 packages to Debian Stretch. I noticed that the Sieve vacation extension no longer appears to be working. When upgrading a server fully to Buster to check whether the issue had anything to do with my broken packages I noticed that Cyrus segfaults when exim4 attemtps to deliver mail: Apr 15 15:54:44 busternt kernel: [10870.893304] lmtpd[13473]: segfault at c ip 00007fbb6d918dd9 sp 00007ffc441f15a8 error 4 in libcyrus_sieve.so.0.0.0[7fbb6d913000+18000] Apr 15 15:54:44 busternt kernel: [10870.893310] Code: 24 28 e8 8a a4 ff ff 48 85 c0 49 89 c7 0f 94 c3 e9 47 ff ff ff e8 17 a8 ff ff 0f 1f 80 00 00 00 00 48 85 ff 74 0b 48 8b 47 08 <8b> 40 0c 0f c8 c3 90 31 c0 c3 66 66 2e 0f 1f 84 00 00 00 00 00 66 The segfault occours with unmodified Debian packages. I did however keep my existing Cyrus 2.5 configuration that worked for us on Stretch. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_CRAP Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages cyrus-imapd depends on: ii cyrus-common 3.0.8-4 ii dpkg 1.19.6 ii libc6 2.28-8 ii libcom-err2 1.44.5-1 ii libsasl2-2 2.1.27+dfsg-1 ii libssl1.1 1.1.1b-1 ii libwrap0 7.6.q-28 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-1 cyrus-imapd recommends no packages. cyrus-imapd suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
