Hi Icenowy (cc Debian bugreport about same topic), I own an Olimex TERES-I laptop, and use and help develop Debian.
I would dearly love for my laptop to be fully supported in Debian and only thing missing now is u-boot support - something you have solved at https://github.com/Icenowy/u-boot/commit/960ae79 Do you intend to push above patch to mainline u-boot? I have proposed to include your patch directly in the Debian u-boot package, but the package maintainer is (sensibly!) reluctant to carry the burden of patches for long, and it therefore helps to know if the patch is actively being pushed upstream into mainline u-boot. I lack the skills to help improve on the code, but I can offer to help test - and already did so succesfully for above patch applied to current Debian package.
