To be clear the gpsd change is in experimental so far and this is a heads up to prep the transition post Buster.
The debdiff adds an extra patch to keep changes separate. OTOH if preferred we could as well change d/p/gpsd_v3 if that is preferred. Attaching the suggested debdiff that I have also test-built against the gpsd in experimental. -- Christian Ehrhardt Software Engineer, Ubuntu Server Canonical Ltd
