Package: python-matplotlib
Version: 0.86.2-2.1
Severity: normal

The path to matplotlib-data in
/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/matplotlib/__init__.py
on line 383 is wrong. Thus, if the environment variable MATPLOTLIBDATA isn't
set, plotting fails.

The path should be adjusted to
/usr/share/lib/python2.3/site-packages/matplotlib/mpl-data
Thus, matplotlib would work out of the box without setting any environment
variables.
