I am connected to the Linksys router that we have by ethernet (I connect OK, all the time), but all the wireless boxes that we have cannot connect anymore--security was enabled on the router, and we don't know the password! I contacted the maintainer of guarddog and he said that guardog would not do such a thing. This leaves out firestarter. I contacted the friestarter maintainer, but so far I did not receive a response as to whether firestarter would influence the settings on the router.
