That btw is the correct path for system wide/bundled extensions. 700 can be seen as wrong, I agree. With su - (it similar sudo) it should be working but unopkg is a mess. That's why the extensions packaged don't run unopkg to register them themselves but just make LO "sync" extensions next run.
