Tricky. I am more inclined towards option 1 (I don't understand option 2) but that presumably means an upload via t-p-u? Normally important bugs wouldn't qualify for that but I actually consider this at least serious, so it's fine. Can I see a debdiff of 5.0.3 to 5.0.4 please?
