The current code is at https://github.com/systemd/systemd/blob/master/src/systemctl/systemctl.c#L8430 Afaics, it provides minimal compatibility with the old, legacy shutdown utility. I can see your use case though. Would you mind filing this upstream as a feature request at https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/new/choose -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
