This would mean calling system("modprobe usbdevfs"), or even system("`cat /proc/sys/kernel/modprobe` usbdevfs"). Looks weird to be (I'm used to see modules autoloaded when /dev files are accessed, filesystems should behave the same). But if it's the proper way, well, fine. Regards, Samuel
