Package: auralquiz Version: 1.0.0-1.1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
auralquiz is currently built with Qt5, but since the program uses Phonon to play sound, and Phonon requires at least one backend, this package depends on either of 3 possible backends. The only problem is that the packages for the backends are the Qt4 versions, not the Qt5 equivalents: dep: phonon-backend-vlc or phonon-backend-xine or phonon-backend-gstreamer it should depend on: phonon4qt5-backend-vlc or phonon4qt5-backend-gstreamer (the one for Xine has been dead for years) The current package *can* be used happily if the user installs one of those manually, or has them for any reason, but auralquiz has to be removed to remove Qt4. Thank you for your time! Cheers! o/ -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-3-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages auralquiz depends on: ii libc6 2.28-7 ii libgcc1 1:8.2.0-21 ii libgl1 1.1.0-1 ii libphonon4qt5-4 4:4.10.2-1 ii libqt5core5a 5.11.3+dfsg-5 ii libqt5gui5 5.11.3+dfsg-5 ii libqt5widgets5 5.11.3+dfsg-5 ii libstdc++6 8.2.0-21 ii libtag1v5 1.11.1+dfsg.1-0.3 ii phonon-backend-vlc 0.10.2-1 ii phonon4qt5 4:4.10.2-1 auralquiz recommends no packages. auralquiz suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
