Package: kontact Version: 4:3.4.3-1 Followup-For: Bug #280175 I am running KMail from within Kontact.
I had problems reading openPGP/MIME encrypted messages - including ones that I sent myself (with encryption to myself). KMail always reported that the passphrase is wrong - when it didn't even ask me for it in the first place. Evenually I found out that running KMail on its own (not from within Kontact) solves this problem. I also read these bugs, but they are not necessarily the same as my case, since they talk about KMail stand-alone (which works fine for me): http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=354382 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=280175 (maybe, depends if KMail is run stand-alone) -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12shl Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages kontact depends on: ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.1-2 core libraries for all KDE applica ii libc6 2.3.5-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:4.0.2-9 GCC support library ii libkcal2b 4:3.4.3-1 KDE calendaring library ii libkdepim1a 4:3.4.3-1 KDE PIM library ii libkpimidentities1 4:3.4.3-1 KDE PIM user identity information ii libqt3-mt 3:3.3.5-4 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libstdc++6 4.0.2-9 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 Versions of packages kontact recommends: ii kaddressbook 4:3.4.3-1 KDE NG addressbook application ii kitchensync 4:3.4.3-1 Synchronization framework ii kmail 4:3.4.3-1 KDE Email client ii knode 4:3.4.3-1 KDE news reader ii knotes 4:3.4.3-1 KDE sticky notes ii korganizer 4:3.4.3-1 KDE personal organizer -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
