Unfortunately, we failed to spot that the plugin package gets pulled in by default on a fair amount of desktop installations (at the very least, LO -> default-jre -> default-java-plugin -> icedtea-8-plugin), and there were late reports of APT not handling the upgrade scenario well (specifically, refusing to touch the packages on a dist-upgrade). We therefore decided not to include this update for now, until we can look at better fixes for the user experience. Regards, Adam
