Package: debhelper Version: 12.1 Severity: normal I just uploaded libmpikmeans_1.5+dfsg-6. During its build, I noticed dh_missing report two files, even though they were installed.
With an override and dh_missing --fail-tmp, I get dh_missing: usr/bin/mpi_assign exists in debian/tmp but is not installed to anywhere dh_missing: usr/bin/mpi_kmeans exists in debian/tmp but is not installed to anywhere dh_missing: missing files, aborting but these binaries have always been listed in debian/mpikmeans-tools.install: mpi_kmeans usr/bin mpi_assign usr/bin And they are installed correctly, eg `find debian -name mpi_kmeans` ./debian/tmp/usr/bin/mpi_kmeans ./debian/mpikmeans-tools/usr/bin/mpi_kmeans Regards, Christian -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages debhelper depends on: ii autotools-dev 20180224.1 ii dh-autoreconf 19 ii dh-strip-nondeterminism 1.1.1-1 ii dpkg 1.19.4 ii dpkg-dev 1.19.4 ii dwz 0.12-3 ii file 1:5.35-2 ii libdpkg-perl 1.19.4 ii man-db 2.8.5-2 ii perl 5.28.1-4 ii po-debconf 1.0.21 debhelper recommends no packages.
