Package: autofs
Version: 4.1.4-9
Followup-For: Bug #319904

I just want to confirm that I have exactly the same problem, I also
use a timeout. I have to restart autofs to force it to drop
its mounts. The problem occurred quite recently, maybe one or two weeks
ago.

Here's my config files:

auto.master:
/var/autofs/removable /etc/auto.removable --timeout=3
/var/autofs/removable2 /etc/auto.removable2 --timeout=10

auto.removable:
sd -fstype=msdos,sync,uid=6809 :/dev/sdcard1
mp3 -fstype=msdos,uid=6809 :/dev/mp3_player1

auto.removable2:
nx1 -fstype=auto,sync,defaults :/dev/nexstar1
nx2 -fstype=auto,sync,defaults :/dev/nexstar2
nx3 -fstype=auto,sync,defaults :/dev/nexstar3
nx4 -fstype=auto,sync,defaults :/dev/nexstar4
nx5 -fstype=auto,sync,defaults :/dev/nexstar5
nx6 -fstype=auto,sync,defaults :/dev/nexstar6
nx7 -fstype=auto,sync,defaults :/dev/nexstar7

cdu -fstype=iso9660,ro,nosuid,nodev :/dev/cdrom_up
cdl -fstype=iso9660,ro,nosuid,nodev :/dev/cdrom_lo
