I've now removed the sed line alltogether- I didn't find a solution without adding a patch that would have to be updated with every release. Maybe there is a way to override the project_version with meson command line flag, but i wasn't able to find anything. And I'm not sure how much value it adds if sway --version adds the ~rc2 to the output and if so, that should probably be fixed upstream. cheers, Birger
