Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal Replaced by e2guardian. In addition to being actively maintained upstream, e2guardian has switched to use clamd instead of libclamav, so it doesn't need patching everytime libclamav changes API.
Maintainer (formerer) agreed on IRC: <ScottK> formorer: We have an upstream maintained dansguardian fork (e2guardian) in both stable and testing. Dansguardian will need patching (see BTS for patch) to continue working with clamav. Would removal be a better option at this point? <formorer> ScottK: yes, I guess we should remove it. Scott K
