Contrary to what the changelog says, elinks wasn't built with
SpiderMonkey support enabled. In the build log[0] I see:
checking for SpiderMonkey (1.8.5 or later) in pkg-config mozjs185... no
checking for SpiderMonkey (1.8.5 or later) in pkg-config mozilla-js... no
configure: WARNING: SpiderMonkey was not found even though you specified
--with-spidermonkey.
