Package: libmariadbclient18 Version: 10.1.37-0+deb9u1 Severity: important Dear maintainer,
after upgrading mariadb 1:10.1.37-3 to mariadb 1:10.3.12-2, my apache2 failed to start. I'm using DBD MySQL in Apache2.4 to do basic http authentication against a mariadb database. This module uses libaprutil1-dbd-mysql 1.6.1-3+b1. Apache2 complained about not being able to load apr_dbd_mysql-1.so. After some extensive investigation I stumbled upon the changelog of mariadb-10.3: * Make libmariadbclient18 Breaks old libpam-mysql and libdbd-mysql-perl This led me to this package and after downgrading only libmariadbclient18 to 1:10.1.37-3, apache2 started without any problems. I suppose, libaprutil1-dbd-mysql should also be added to the Breaks-list.
