Installing the "buildd" package without installing the "devscripts" package, will result in the build daemon fail with: > Can't exec "dcmd": No such file or directory at > /usr/share/perl5/Buildd/Daemon.pm line 704. This leads to packages being built and signed, but not uploaded. Thus, the "buildd" binary package should add a dependency to the "devscripts" package in order to address this issue unles there is a compelling reason not to have "devscripts" installed at the same time as the "buildd" package. Also, could we fix #774856 [1] as well? I am constantly running into this when setting up new buildds for Debian Ports.
