Hi Sascha, I was able to reproduce the error that you faced. The wormhole test didn't import the required key, so it failed if the testing private key wasn't already in the keyring.
I wrote a fix [1] and very soon (probably even tomorrow) we should release a hotfix release 1.0.1 of gnome-keysign. Thank you for your time.
