It can't be closed because the problem will still not be fixed in stretch. This is only fixed in unstable since gcc 8 is now used to compile chromium. Stretch only has gcc 6 and no one has identified yet which compiler bug causes this or how to work around the problem with older compilers. For anyone that cares about this issue, figuring that out would be very helpful. Best wishes, Mike
