Relevant commit on debian packaging: https://salsa.debian.org/systemd-team/systemd/commit/03ae999bb5a731812a2cd1412478b0f337bfbfab "This is still an experimental feature." Since systemd 240 the portable thing moved from experimental to "supported". From upstream 240 NEWS entry: * portablectl is now officially supported and has thus moved to /usr/bin/. I thus think it makes sense to consider enable and ship it as a wishlist request also (or primarily) for unstable/testing. Thus marking it as found in that version as well. Regards, Andreas Henriksson
