Package: python-numpy Version: 1:1.16.0~rc2-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: Ole Streicher <oleb...@debian.org>
Dear maintainer, whhile reviewing the situation here, I noticed that following #918399 you added Breaks: python-astropy (<< 2.0.9-1) to the python-numpy package. However, that's the wrong version, as that version *is* broken. In fact, there is not and there won't be a fixed version of python-astropy, so a versionless Breaks is fine (but ISTR lintian complains about it, to prevent that you can make up any higher version or use <= which will be fine as long as no futher upload of src:python-astropy happen before its removal from the archive). Please note that the submitter of #918399 did use '<< 2.0.9-1+' in his request. -- regards, Mattia Rizzolo GPG Key: 66AE 2B4A FCCF 3F52 DA18 4D18 4B04 3FCD B944 4540 .''`. more about me: https://mapreri.org : :' : Launchpad user: https://launchpad.net/~mapreri `. `'` Debian QA page: https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=mattia `-
