Quickly glancing at the systemd v240 changelog I don't see any mention of a changed udevadm behaviour. So I'm not sure if it's deliberate or not (fwiw I actually haven't tested if v239 behaves differently) -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
