I like the idea of migrating logsave over to the sysvinit tree and that way, as Ted pointed out, we have it as an optional logging tool for the entire init.d collection of scripts. Seems like this would be a fairly straight forward way to make sure the dependency is in place and possibly give us another tool in the toolbox for debugging things in the future.
Are there any objections to this solution? - Jesse
