Bug#861838: long list of acceptable CA names breaks libldap

The change I made in libldap to fix this issue caused a busy-loop bug in 
slapd (see the upstream issue) and had to be reverted. I did not come up 
with a proper fix in time for 2.4.47 and so this bug is reintroduced in 
that version.
