In debian-testing this is already fixed, so qemu version is the problem
here. I didn't bisect the commit that fixed it, if anyone is interesting
in backporting I can do that.
Note that at the time this bugreport has been filed, testing and stretch
(debian9) versions were the same. So "in testing this has been fixed" is
quite.. interesting statement, and we have two binaries of the same version,
one with this bug and one without, so there's nothing to bisect really, it
is the same code.
Actually this is completely wrong, please excuse me for this wrong statement.
The version in testing was 2.12, not 2.8, so there _is_ something to bisect,
if one needs to.
