Package: zd1211-source
Version: 0.0.0.svnr23-3
Severity: important

Once built and installed with m-a, the module from zd1211-module-2.6.15-1-686
requires a firmware :

Mar 15 18:44:04 localhost kernel: zd1211 - version 2.0.0.0
Mar 15 18:44:04 localhost kernel: Release Ver = 4330
Mar 15 18:44:04 localhost kernel: Failed to load zd1211-WS11UPhR.fw firmware
file!
Mar 15 18:44:04 localhost kernel: Make sure the hotplug firmware loader is
installed.
Mar 15 18:44:04 localhost kernel: zd1211_Download_IncludeFile failed
Mar 15 18:44:04 localhost kernel: zd1211: probe of 4-3:1.0 failed with error -5
Mar 15 18:44:04 localhost kernel: usbcore: registered new driver zd1211

The firmware seems to be provided by zd1211-firmware package (non-free ?) but
nothing suggested its installation.

It should probably be present in the package's dependencies, then IMHO
(although I'm not sure how a free package may depend on a non-free
one... maybe suggest only ?).

At least, this should be stated somewhere in a README, maybe ?

Or maybe the firmware is not mandatory ?

Best regards,
