Package: valadoc Version: 0.30.0~git20160518-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I think valadoc should depend on gtk-doc-tools or at least recommend it. Without it, using the gtkdoc doclet (--doclet gtkdoc) leads to a fatal error: gtkdoc-scan: error: Failed to execute child process "gtkdoc-scan" (No such file or directory) Installing the gtk-doc-tools package fixes the issue. I would expect the various doclets to work out of the box after installing the valadoc package, but in any case I believe recommending the required packages which make the options work would make a lot of sense.
