offline != no internet access You're for some reason implying that I'm installing icinga2 and icinga2-doc on the same machine. There are plenty of reasons to read up on icinga2 documentation without having internet access. You might be traveling, you might be in a data centre with restricted outbound access, or your ISP connection might just happen to be down at home. Also, https://icinga.com/docs/ is of limited use for Debian, as it always points to the latest icinga2 version, which does not match the feature set and version shipped in Debian. > >> It should be fairly straight-forward to just run mkdocs after build, and then >> just include the HTML structure under site/.
