I made draft packaging of this package available as <URL: https://salsa.debian.org/games-team/unfinished/minetest-mod-pycraft >. Had to fetch upstream HEAD from git. Hopefully they will start tagging releases. Also, the d/copyright file need more love and care. The build rules provide one minetest module, and the python library to talk to the minetest server, alongside many example python scripts to create and run various features.
