Yes, this bug report was bad. Both in failing to describe what I meant and that the "bug" is in the ben file for this transition. (I think something like "affects depends python3 << 3.7" needs to be added). I followed up on #debian-release, the binNMU scheduled and the autopkgtest passes now. Paul
