Dear xfdesktop4 maintainers, The Backports team has received a request of fixing Debian Bug 822761 in Debian Stable: https://lists.debian.org/debian-backports/2018/11/msg00034.html Since this bug looks important and affects xfdesktop4 in stable, the best solution is to backport the specific patch into stable version of xfdesktop4 and make a stable upload via proposed-updates mechanism [1] (Debian-reference ยง5.5.1).
