I investigated the issue a little (as I7m also upstream for cpufreqd) and you actually uncovered a race in cpufreqd handling of SIGALRM. I'm preparing cpufreqd-2.1.0 (hopefully it'll be ready in a month) that fixes such bug, so I won't integrate yor script in cpufreqd now. Thanks again. -- mattia :wq!
