I am synchronizing my calendar by using vdirsyncer. The server is
cyrus-caldav. Amongst other clients I use is Davdroid. Davdroid will
create events that when synchronized will not have a filename that ends
with ".ics". And khal won't find those.

One small snippet from khalendar.py is the one below:
