Dear Maintainer, on the Buster postgresql-11-postgis-2.5(-scripts), the command CREATE EXTENSION postgis; produces no results and gets stuck indefinitely (had to kill -9). The corresponding steps work on Stretch as expected. Steps to reproduce: apt-get install -y --no-install-recommends postgresql postgresql-11-postgis-2.5 postgresql-11-postgis-2.5-scripts service postgresql start su postgres psql -c "CREATE DATABASE sampledb;" psql -c "CREATE EXTENSION postgis;" sampledb I could not manage to produce any useful debug information; e.g. with -d 5 I got similar command parse information on Stretch and Buster but no details about the actual extension setup.
