Indeed only with mysql-server-5.0 because it's irrelevant for the others.
You probably still use mysql-server-4.1, right? You explicitly have
to say "apt-get install mysql-server-5.0" to get the new version.
Then you will probably also see the NEWS file. It will also be available
as /usr/share/doc/mysql-server-5.0/NEWS.Debian.
