Package: php-ssh2 Version: 1.1.2+0.13-4 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? Debian Testing with multiple PHP installation 7.2 and Debian update installing 7.3-RC4 PHP 7.2 is active module PHP 7.2 is set to be default install in alterntaives * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? The php-ssh2 package was updated and compiled against 7.3-RC4 which removed it from the 7.2 install rendering it not working * What was the outcome of this action? No ssh2 module in PHP 7.2 anymore * What outcome did you expect instead? Having ssh2 modules in both PHP 7.2 and PHP 7.3 [like zip modules] I wish the php-ssh2 module would be compiled against each PHP version like the php-zip package Current solution is to install ssh2 via pecl *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.17.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages php-ssh2 depends on: ii libc6 2.27-8 ii libssh2-1 1.8.0-2 ii php-common 1:62 ii php7.3-cli [phpapi-20180731] 7.3.0~rc4-1 ii php7.3-phpdbg [phpapi-20180731] 7.3.0~rc4-1 php-ssh2 recommends no packages. php-ssh2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
