I unistalled the previously installed build dependencies, and then asked aptitude to reinstall them but uuid-dev and docbook-utils were not installed.
I really cannot explain that because both uuid-dev and docbook-utils are explicitly listed in the Build-Depends of the package currently in unstable.
What is apt-cache showsrc fontconfig showing?
