Package: mpi-testsuite Version: 3.2+dfsg-1 Severity: grave I've been trying to debug why this package is *semi-randomly* failing for me when attempting to rebuild it for armel and armhf on arm64 systems. Looking at failed build logs, I can see lots and lots of nasty-looking error messages warning about segmentation faults, floating point exceptions etc. Then I checked in the "successful" build logs and I'm seeing exactly the same stuff.
So I've just checked in the logs from Debian's buildds and I'm seeing exactly the same kind of thing. These errors are not being picked up on at all in the "successful" builds. Failed builds are typically being failed for timing out, not for any error checking in the build. What is this package even for? Why should it be in Debian in this state? -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-8-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
