Good steps: join #debian-cli on Freenode, and bug Meebey to give you
access to the Salsa group (I don't think I have sufficient rights to do it).

One thing that would help lighten the load is for someone to take care
of the ancillary repos - libgdiplus, mod-mono, mono-vbnc, xsp, fsharp
etc. I can go into more detail on the release process in IRC, if we want
to be sure to pick versions with something approaching "LTS" status.
