Probably because Firefox has the bad habit (like many browsers) to add "www." in front of the hostname if the hostname doesn't resolve. And if that doesn't help, ".com" seems to be added, too, and www.voins.program.ru.com resolves, but is a totally unrelated catch-all site. > however, with big scarry SSL warnings, In that case I'd never change a link to HTTPS.
