plasma-browser-integration is shipping /etc/chromium/native-messaging-hosts/ which is a directory known to chromium as documented at https://developer.chrome.com/apps/nativeMessaging I don't know if there are other uses for /etc/chromium/ but that doesn't matter. chromium in Debian is shipping /etc/chromium.d/ and recently started shipping /etc/chromium (file), which are Debian specific according to its d/rules and /etc/chromium.d/README. This is clearly a problem in chromium and it's not just about plasma-browser-integration as the admins should be also able to create the directory. -- WBR, wRAR
