Thanks for reporting! I am not familiar with xdvi, so would appreciate some help isolating tests using Ghostscript directly. Does it emit some warnings or errors? It seems "xdvi -debug 32" provides valuable details. Can you try isolate and share an example file directly passed to Ghostscript which renders wrongly, and the Ghostscript command that is being called?
