Hi all, I ran into exactly the same problem today. Here is the broken ~/.cache/ibus/libpinyin/ attached which you can use to reproduce this problem.
I do consider this as an issue since simply deleting cache directory will erase your input history, which is annoying given that the dictionary and word-splitting is very bad.
