By default, yes, but this is configurable. > With systemd user need to manually add each share with "systemctl > enable nbd@nbdX.service". That requires a generator, which requires extra code that could be buggy and would be hard to debug. > Behaviour must be the same! This assertion is just plain wrong. > Please make systemd to start all shares from nbdtab. > > While it's not fixed, please add brief explanation about "systemctl > enable nbd@nbdX.service" workaround. It's not a workaround, it's the proper fix. I am reluctant to document things that aren't part of my package. Instantiated units (like the nbd@nbdX thing) are a feature of systemd, they are not a feature of nbd; therefore, the documentation belongs in systemd, not in nbd. Otherwise, this would have to be done into packages such as PostgreSQL and OpenVPN too, which also use template units, and that way lies madness. Having said that, I've added a pointer to the relevant docs in README.Debian. It will be there with the next upload. -- Could you people please use IRC like normal people?!? -- Amaya Rodrigo Sastre, trying to quiet down the buzz in the DebConf 2008 Hacklab
