Dear Maintainer,
I had the same issue on stretch: After upgrading thunderbird from 52 to 60
lightning vanished.
I tested using a new, empty thunderbird profile:
Lightning was back there.
Then I switched back to my default profile, deactivated any add-on the DE
language pack and restarted thunderbird:
Lightning was back there.
Then activated all add-ons and the DE lang pack step by step, restarting the
applilcation after each step.
Lightning was still there.
I use the following debian packages:
thunderbird 1:60.0-3~deb9u1
thunderbird-l10n-de 1:60.0-3~deb9u1
lightning 1:60.0-3~deb9u1
and the following add-ons from addons.mozilla.org
Enigmail
Provider for Google Calendar
Mail Redirect
DKIM Verifier
