This is definately *not* the right thing to do. See RFC 2633, section 3.2.1--a .p7m extension should be interpreted as enveloped data. I suggest changing the #if 0 to #if 1. It may break compatibility with some version of outlook, but it will restore compatibility for RFC compliant encrypted messages.
